The upcoming Hrithik Roshan film Kites is to be released in April 2010. The production of Kites is done by Rakesh Roshan and the Kites music by Rajesh Roshan. The combination of Hrithik Roshan – Rakesh Roshan – Rajesh Roshan as always will be a block buster hit this time also. This is a huge budget film which is valued at $25 million. Latin actress Barbara Mori and Hrithik Roshan play the leading roles in Kites.

Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming film Kites is a romantic film in which he plays the role of a dance tutor. So, it gives him the opportunity to show off all his new steps in this film. In fact, there is no other actor to do this film in India till now. The Indian boy falls in love with the Latin girl though both do not understand each other’s language. The set of the story is Las Vegas and the dance student Kangana Ranaut alls madly in love with Hrithik in Kites.

As the Kites story goes on it gradually turns out to be a thriller from its romantic nature. The two lovers meet, fight, embrace and almost become one. The story of Kites is that in the harsh terrain of the Mexican desert, a badly wounded man is left about to die in the heat of the sun. The quest to find the love of his life, Natasha (Barbara Mori) keeps him alive. The 2010 Bollywood film Kites is a story of love that goes beyond barriers, boundaries and cultures. It is also a story of passion that defies every rule of a relationship that takes two lovers on a thrilling journey filled with precious moments and unexpected betrayal in life.

It also has adventurous scenes of Hrithik in the movie. He has to run on a tiled roof fast and jump over to other building too. All such scenes are attractive as they are adventurous. Altogether it will be romantic plus thriller movie and therefore is a must watch Bollywood movie of 2010.

Aamir Khan film 3 Idiot is the latest controversy in Bollywood now. The 3 Idiot controversy is that the producer and author Chetan Bhagat holds the view that his novel was the basis for the success of the film Three Idiots. On the other hand, Aamir accuses Bhagat for trying to take away the credit from the film 3 Idiots’ scriptwriter Abhijat Joshi who was working on the script for three years. Publicity-seeking people were trying to generate a controversy, says Aamir about the controversial issue. As a response Bhagat called Khan and the film producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and the Director Rajkumar Hirani “uncivilized people” and he also rejected all the allegations that he was hankering for publicity. He said that they are making a fool of themselves.

The 3 Idiot producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra was irritated before the media’s statement that the film was similar to the book. Later when Chopra outburst towards the media, Aamir asked him to apologize but the producer refused to do so. The conclusion made by Chopra was this: We will send a ‘get well soon’ card to Chetan and we will also send some flowers.

According to Aamir it was the author himself who approached Raj Kumar Hirani to make a film on his book. Aamir said: “It was Chetan who came to Raju and requested him to make a film on it. Hirani read the book and decided to make a film. But when they began writing the script it became entirely different. Chetan read the script and he was completely satisfied with it. He even told me that the script and the book are very different”.

It is noticeable that Bhagat had earlier accused the film makers of not giving him adequate credit in ‘3 Idiots’ which is adapted from his bestseller ‘Five Point Someone’.
Chetan Bhagat said that from the very beginning the film was promoted on the lines that it is based on ‘Five Point Someone’. But when he saw the film, he found out that hi name was nowhere to be seen in the opening credit. This factor in fact is really painful for anyone. Bhagat also added that “for the past two years I trusted Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Aamir blindly and this is what I get in return. Now I am being threatened with legal action but I am ready for it”.

But Aamir’s says that the film makers were honest in their agreement with the novelist as they had given him due credit in the film. In Aamir’s opinion of the issue, the credit should be given to Abhijat since he was working behind the script for three years. He also added that nobody knows Abhijat and Bhagat is already a star.

The latest news about the upcoming Bollywood film Dulha Mil Gaya is that it will be released on 8th January 2010. Another Hindi film Pyaar Impossible is also scheduled to release on the same date. So, there will be a tough competition between all the New Year release Bollywood movies. Each one is given more care to be the best to get more collection. Though Shahrukh khan, Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan are the leading faces of this film there are many outstanding celebrities like Johnny Lever, Tara Sharma, Ishita Sharma, Mohit Chadda, Beena Kak, Suchitra Pillai, Vivek Vaswani, Howard Rosemeyer, Anushka Manchandani and so on.

Shahrukh khan and Sushmita Sen had played a wonder in their past film Main Hun Na. And now they are back again together in Dulha Mil Gaya directed by Muddassar Aziz under the production of Vivek Vaswani. It is interesting that the Dulha Mil Gaya story was written by it director and producer themselves. So, they are sure of its success. Fardeen Khan in Dulha Mil Gaya is a costar. The Dulha Mil Gaya release on 2010 January 8th is a much expected film of SRK and Sushmita as it is the new year release film of both.

The plot of Dulha Mil Gaya Hindi film is very attractive and different from usual stories. It is a love story mingled with comedy. In other words, it is a love story dipped in comedy. This is important that Sushmita’s hero in Dulha Mil Gaya is Fardeen Khan and SRK in Dulha Mil Gaya has only a guest role. SRK agreed for this short role in the movie only because the producer Vivek Vaswani is a close friend of him. And the latter insisted SRK to be in his movie to do this particular role as he believes that only SRK can make it happen. Sushmita as Lisa and Fardeen as Shashank act in this movie. The first 2010 SRK film will have a special effect in theatres.

Vettai aarambichidei………. Yes, this is what I would say about the released Vettaikkaran Tamil film. The Vijay hunt in theatres has started and this will go on for a long time. The latest Vijay film Vettaikkaran in Kerala also got a warm welcome. Almost all the theatres report a houseful show on the very first day itself. And this will continue for the coming days of the film also.

To be frank, when I watched Vijay’s previous movie Villu, I was really disappointed. But now I am not only happy, rather I am proud of Vijay and team in Vettaikkaran film. It is the fact that I received five incoming calls while I was watching the film and I cut all the calls and concentrated on the movie. If I had attended those calls it would have been a great loss for me as I would have missed a lot during that time. Each shot, each scene, each second is done with great care and attractively.

My best friend who was a Vijay fan turned towards the Tamil actor after having watched his movies Ayan and Varanam Ayiram. Even he too was sad and disappointed with the Vijay film Villu. But now he after watching Vettaikkaran with me says proudly that Vijay is no more Ilayathalapathy Vijay, rather he is Periyathalapathy Vijay.

All the songs of Vettaikkaran are one better than the other. All of them are enjoyed equally by the audience. Though I didn’t dance in the theatre, there were many young and middle aged Vijay fans dancing along with song feeling one with the great Tamil actor Vijay. In a song we can even see the little Vijay making some dance steps along with him. That was a good combination. And the little boy danced with him was his own son. The dance of Vijay and his son in Vettaikkaran was really amazing.

The Vijay – Anushka Shetty combination in the film was a good one. There was a good chemistry between the two. She was able to step well in dance with Vijay. The story though had a romance in it, it was a serious subject. The Vettaikkaran story is that Vijay was very much fond of a Police officer from childhood who always lived for justice and against crime. So, the Vettaikkaran hero Vijay also wanted to become a police officer like him. So, he imitated all the good qualities of his only role model. He in his native place does all the good social activities and gains the pet name Police Ravi. And he is happy to be called so. To become a police officer like Devaraj (Srihari) he gains an admission in the same school that Devaraj also studied. And he falls in love with the Vettaikkaran heroine Anushka. But unfortunately he was not able to become a police officer. But he does much more than what a police officer can do for the society. He could also change the mind of a corrupted police officer by his deeds and made him a responsible officer. And at last he cleans up the society by demolishing all the criminals.

The fight scenes of the film Vettaikkaran were very good and powerful. Though some of the fight shots in Vettaikkaran were exaggerated, they are ok. In short, it is a very good entertainer of 2009 – 2010. It is the best Christmas gift Vijay can offer for all his fans. This will certainly run for hundred days.
