Ever since Dabangg was released, there was the speculation that a sequel to the movie will be made. Well that’s certain now with the sequel to the movie already making news, with the movie still in pre-production stage. Well the credit has to be given to Salman Khan, who has been in the middle of an amazing turn around in his career in the previous years. The expectancy is so high that every movie he stars is expected to be Box Office Blockbusters. Often actors come under pressure with such high expectancy, but not Salman. Now it’s time for Chulbul Pandey to make his return. The sequel to the 2012 smash hit Dabangg will go on floors this March and if reports are to be believed the movie has lots more to offer than its prequel.

Agent Vinod is an upcoming Spy-Thriller film, starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The movie, written and directed by Sriram Raghavan is expected to do wonders in the box office. The movie is produced by Saif himself along with Dinesh Vijan and the music has been composed by Pritam. Produced at a cost of Rs 60 crores, the film was completed in 19 months. It will be released in 3,500 screens. The movie was shot in 12 countries including Latvia, Riga, Uzbekistan, Morocco, Russia, UK and India. The movie is scheduled to release on March 23, 2012. The buzz surrounding Agent Vinod was quite low until now, but with only a few weeks before its release, the makers have begun promoting it in a big way. The song I’ll do the Talking is ruling the charts, and the recently released ‘Mujra’ song by Kareena Kapoor has also created waves.

  The 84^th Annual Academy Awards have been announced. The top honors were bagged by “The Artist”. The film won the Best Film award and the Best Director award was presented to French newcomer Michel Hazanavicius who directed “The Artist”. Jean Dujardin was adjudged the Best actor for his performance in “The Artist” and veteran actress Meryl Streep received the Best Actress award for her role in “The Iron Lady”. The Award Ceremony was hosted by Billy Crystal, an American actor, writer, producer, comedian, and film director, making a much-anticipated comeback as Oscar host after an eight-year absence. Unlike the predictions “The Descendants” failed to make an impression. But “Hugo” was among the awards grabbing a total of 5 awards at the ceremony. “The Descendants” starring George Clooney was expected to win a bunch of awards at the ceremony, but only managed to win a single award after being nominated in several categories including Best Picture and Best Actor Awards.

The special effect team of Ra.One is from Hollywood. the film was scheduled to start its shooting in USA, due to budget concerns it was changed. the shooting of the movie started in Mumbai film city.
The satellite right of Ra.One is sold for Rs.40 crore for a channel. This is the highest amount acquired by a Hindi film.
